INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVES

Industrial Hose & Hydraulics (IHH)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

-Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, Internet Web sites, and other sources
-Talks with customers on sales floor or by phone
-Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes sellable features
-Quotes prices and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained
-Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm’s production and delivery schedules
-Prepares reports of business transactions
-Inside sales representatives coordinate to keep account activities and literature up to date
-Tracks stock levels
-Coordinates customer training
-Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries

Requirements:

-Sales experience preferred but not necessary — willing to train right individual on industrial needs within the marine and construction industries.
-Excellent communication skills
-Ability to interface with top management in both our company and also customers’ companies
-Goal oriented
-Ability to manage time and territory in an effective manner
